Choose HappyHorse 1.0 when solid T2V or I2V quality is needed and native audio is required. It was the #1-ranked model on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard at April 2026 launch, but as of this sweep (2026-08-19) it has settled to upper-mid-table (#6/28 T2V, #8/29 I2V) as the tracked field grew — still a credible option, not the outright leader it was at launch. For the current top-ranked options on the same arena, see seedance-2.0.yaml (Dreamina Seedance 2.0, #1 I2V) or gemini-omni-flash.yaml (#1 T2V). At $0.15/s (720p) it remains a reasonable price for this tier. No V2V or editing capability via Runway API. For V2V and 4K support on the same provider, choose Seedance 2. For the lowest cost on Runway, Gen-4 Turbo ($0.05/s, I2V only). Caveat: the creator is pseudonymous (attributed to Alibaba's Future Life Laboratory); commercial deployment should factor in vendor stability and licensing clarity.
