Audio pricing page ↗Pay-as-you-go TTS API, no subscription required for API access (a paid subscription plan unlocks API access at all — see below). Billing is per 1M UTF-8 bytes of input text, not per character — for English/Latin-script text these are equal, but CJK and other multi-byte scripts cost up to 3-4x more per character than the flat rate implies. Model lineup as of 2026-07-30: s2.1-pro (current-gen, recommended for production, TTFA/DPA guarantees), s2.1-pro-free (same model, free under fair-use limits, no guarantees), s2-pro (previous-gen, still offered), and s1 (earlier model, still available for existing integrations). Separately, "Free/Plus/Pro/Max" are subscription-credit plan names ($0/$5.50/$37.50/$749 per month) that gate API access tiers and concurrency limits — not to be confused with the "S2 Pro" model name, which is a distinct, unrelated "Pro".
Release cadence
3 models tracked across all verticals. Earliest release 2025-11, most recent 2026.
Derived from Modelglass's per-vertical provider registries — image/llm/video/audio's registry/providers/*.yaml records, plus science/coding/agentic/gdpval's benchmark registries, where a provider is identified by the prefix before "/" in each model's model_id rather than a registry record of its own. Where the same company uses a different provider slug or model_id prefix across verticals (e.g. Google DeepMind vs. Google Cloud, or Qwen's "alibaba" model_id prefix in the coding registry vs. its "qwen" provider slug elsewhere), coverage is merged onto a single profile per an explicit, human-reviewed alias list (registry/provider-aliases.yaml) — everything else reflects exact-slug or exact-prefix matches only.
